I have a usb broadband modem and connect my ps3 to the laptop through ethernet cable. On windows 7 i could easily share my internet connection with the ps3 but with windows 8 the networking control panel is different and I have tried many things to try and get my ps3 to use the internet connection but nothing works.

I have tried turning on ICS, tried bridge connections, Tried starting a new wifi connection through elevated command prompt, tried using a third part virtual router program and have carried out a lot of troubleshooting for network adaptors such as was specified in a similar post on this site:.
